Getting started

Start playing

Five steps, from your Minecraft account to your first few minutes on the server. Getting set up takes longer the first time, while the pack downloads.

Step 4 of 5

Wait for the first launch

The first time, the game loads every mod in the pack. The loading screen stays up longer than usual.

  1. Let the game load

    Keep the window open if it seems frozen for several minutes. Later launches are faster.

  2. Keep the launcher settings

    The launcher allocates 8 GB of memory to the game by default. Only lower this if your computer is short on memory.

  3. If the game closes on its own

    Start it again once from the launcher. If it happens again, open a ticket on Discord with a screenshot of the error.
