Cookies and storage

No banner or trackers

The website sets no advertising or analytics cookies. It loads nothing from another company when you open a page, so it does not need to ask for your consent.

Visits are counted on our server using its logs, without cookies.

What the website keeps in your browser

In the shop, the username you type is kept in your browser for the visit (session storage), to fill in the “Before you pay” window. It is cleared when you close the tab. Nothing is sent until you click “Pay with Tebex”.

Your language choice and whether the language suggestion has been shown are kept in your browser’s local storage until you clear the site’s data; they are not sent to the server.

Your display mode (simple or adventure) is kept the same way, along with a flag set when the scene ran too slowly on your device. None of this is sent to the server.

At checkout

When you click “Pay with Tebex”, the Tebex payment window opens. Tebex may then set its own cookies needed for payment. See Tebex’s policy.

The player area

The “My account” page sets two cookies needed for sign-in. They are not used for advertising or analytics, and no script on the page can read them.

• __Host-pl_oauth: set when you click “Sign in with Microsoft”. It lasts 10 minutes at most, and the website removes it as soon as sign-in succeeds.
• __Host-pl_session: keeps you signed in for 30 days. “Sign out” deletes it straight away.
