Respect
Everyone plays together, and many players are young. On the server and on Discord:
- no harassment, insults or discrimination;
- no spam or excessive mentions;
- no advertising or suspicious links;
- no hateful or adult-only content.
Playing
Cheating, exploiting bugs and using unauthorised commands lead to penalties. If you find a bug, report it in a ticket without using it.
In ranked battles, disconnecting during a match counts as a forfeit.
Redstone and farms: what is allowed
Redstone is allowed on PokéLink. To keep the server smooth for everyone:
- A clock must be stoppable. A circuit that runs on its own (clock, observer loop) must have an easy-to-find lever or button to stop it. Turn it off when you’re not using it.
- No chunk loaders. A machine that keeps areas loaded with no player around is forbidden, for example items sent in a loop through a portal.
- Big farms need approval. Before building a farm with more than 50 animals or mobs, or a giant automatic farm, ask the staff for their approval.
- No lag machines. A machine built to slow the server down leads to a penalty.
- The server monitors the load. If a machine makes the server lag, the staff may stop it and ask you to change it. If the problem comes back, it may be removed.
If in doubt, ask the staff before building.
Penalties
Depending on the severity, the team may issue a warning, mute, kick, or temporary or permanent ban.
Evading a penalty makes it more severe. A ban doesn’t entitle you to a refund of shop purchases (see the terms of sale).
Appealing a penalty
Open a ticket on Discord and calmly explain what happened. A team member will review your request.
Reporting a problem
If a player breaks the rules or you’re stuck in game, open a ticket in the Ticket channel on Discord. A private channel opens, visible only to you and staff. Add a screenshot if you can.
