Our aims

The website aims to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. It can be read using a keyboard, a screen reader, without JavaScript and on a slow connection. This statement is voluntary.

Current status

The website hasn’t yet had a full audit by a person. An automated check (axe-core, WCAG 2.2 A and AA rules) covered the French pages for desktop and mobile; on 21 October it found no issues. This browser check is still pending for the English pages. Checks run each time the site is built: one main heading per page, headings in order, a “Skip to content” link, a visible outline around the focused element, text contrast of at least 4.5 to 1, and animations that stop when your system asks.

Remaining issues

• The trailer has no audio description. Its only audio is music. It starts muted and never plays automatically. Its on-screen titles, in order, mean: “PokéLink presents”, “A French Cobblemon server”, “Travel between dimensions: more than 10 worlds to explore”, “Every Pokémon can be ridden, without exception”, “7 moons: bonuses and penalties”, “And even…”, “1 to 7-star raids, alone or as a team”, “Legendary Pokémon to summon”, then “PokéLink : Odyssée”, the address pokelink.eu, “Launcher, Discord, coming soon”, and the 3D model credits (Cobblemon, Mega Showdown, AllTheMons).
• Adventure mode (the walkable camp on the home page) hasn’t yet been tested with a screen reader. Every place stays reachable by keyboard, and simple mode provides all content.
