Five steps, from your Minecraft account to your first few minutes on the server. Getting set up takes longer the first time, while the pack downloads.

Step 2 of 5

Install the PokéLink launcher

The launcher downloads the server modpack, keeps it up to date and starts the game with the right settings. You don’t need to install anything by hand.

Windows

  1. Open the downloaded file

    On Windows, the blue “Windows protected your PC” screen appears because the file is unsigned. Click “More info”, then “Run anyway”.

  2. Sign in with your Microsoft account

    Use the account that owns Minecraft Java. The launcher never sees your password: you sign in on Microsoft’s page.

  3. Let the pack download

    The first download takes the longest: about 1.4 GB. Later updates only download what has changed.
